New York and Tri-State Rivlin Gathering
A New York parlor meeting took place on Oct. 9, 2007, at the home of Selig and Angela Sacks. Similar events are being considered and planned in Philadelphia and London.

Benefit Concert
A concert with leading Israeli, internationally-known groups - Infected Mushroom, DJ Skazi, and DJ Yahel (all confirmed) - is planned to take place in August 2008 in Israel, and is organized by Ron Rivlin from Los Angeles, CA. The acts have great appeal for the young people, who we are confident will fill the Tel Aviv venue. The concert is expected to generate a large sum for the project..

Meeting at Herzog Hospital
An international group of Rivlins met at Herzog Hospital on 2 July 2006, giving them an opportunity to catch up on family events, to discuss the international family reunion being planned for 2009, as well as the Rivlin Family/Herzog Hospital Project. This meeting was held thanks to the visit of Lilly Rivlin from New York, one of the catalysts of the reunion, and the creator of the film The Tribe.

The project featured in the Jerusalem Post
The International Herzog Hospital – Rivlin Family Fund Raising Project was recently featured in The Jerusalem Post. Our plan is to activate Rivlin Family members and their friends throughout the world to help raise $1.5million towards the construction of Herzog’s soon-to-be-built Wing. This is the first time that the project has been publicized to the general public and has already generated a good deal of new interest from Rivlins in Israel and overseas.

Preparing for construction
Building plans have been completed. Licensing and building permits have been granted. The tender for the construction of the foundations and frame has been prepared and is due to be published within the next couple of weeks. Groundbreaking for the foundations has begun in June. Construction of the first phase is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2006 and that will enable the dedication of the first department.
